Shaped by the voices and imaginations of Wellington’s youngest residents. Inspired by local children’s ideas—textures, feelings, and favourite native animals—it invites families to touch, play and explore.

Developed through parent focus groups, community surveys, and kindergarten workshops, the project celebrates creativity, connection, and early childhood wonder. Designed to travel across Wellington Shire, you will see the Wild Wonder Nature Nook pop up in libraries, at events, and throughout community spaces.
