Join Indigenous Trawoolway artist Domnic White in a unique workshop exploring natural materials and indigenous thinking. In this workshop children aged 5 - 12 years (primary school aged) will learn the value of unseen materials, how to string objects and ideas together, as they make string from synthetic sinew using a Trawoolway technique, and how to shape, sand and burnish bush timber into a pendant.
This workshop will run at different venues on different days:
- Thursday 10 July, from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Yarram Library
- Thursday 10 July, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the Rosedale Library
- Friday 11 July, from 10.30am to 12.30pm at the Stratford Library
- Friday 11 July, from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the Maffra Library
- Saturday 12 July, from 10.30am to 12.30pm for the Sale Library
